Getting to STEM Solutions
Austin is a “drive friendly” city that offers over one hundred car rental or taxi options for visitors traveling from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA).
Directions and Parking
The Austin Convention Center is located at: 500 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin, TX 78701. It is approximately 11 miles from ABIA and can be accessed from the I-25 and Loop 1.
The Austin Convention Center has two parking garages:
- 2nd Street Garage at 201 East 2nd Street with entrances on Brazos and San Jacinto streets.
- 5th Street Garage at 601 East 5th Street with one entrance on 5th Street, between Red River and Sabine streets.

Capital METRO Airport Service
Austin’s Capital METRO offers two convenient options for a quick ride to and from ABIA for just $1. You can hop on the MetroAirport Flyer—which picks you up at the lower level of the airport and drops you off in downtown Austin. This service is available every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour. Or, catch the Route 350 bus, also located at the lower level of the airport. This bus route travels from ABIA to North Austin.
