The Conference Venue
The Walter E. Washington Convention Center, an extraordinary 2.3 million-square-foot conventions and meetings facility, is equipped to handle events of all sizes, from small groups and break-out meetings to events for 500 to 42,000 attendees. It is known for being one of the most energy-efficient buildings for its size.
The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is located between 7th and 9th Streets and N Street and Mt. Vernon Place in downtown DC, right across from Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square.
Attendees can enter the convention center through the entrance at 801 Mt. Vernon Pl. NW then proceed to Level 3 to the U.S. News STEM Solutions registration. The metro is on the other side of the building and there will be some directional signage along the way to our event.
