Co-chair Highlight: National Minority Technology Council

The National Minority Technology Council is the nation’s representative organization for the minority technology industry. The National Minority Technology Council is organized into 40 Districts across the US. This District Strategy allows each NMTC District the opportunity to provide regional support for our national initiatives. The Council is working with local school administrators, Universities, and our member companies in various Districts to not only promote STEM but also to facilitate economic opportunities and jobs for parents.

According to NMTC Chairman Karl Cureton, “We advocate critical thinking and responsibility. People rise to higher expectations with relevant examples of success. The Council is participating in this important STEM leadership summit because it fits our vision of building trust and encouraging collaboration. Relevant and trusted business mentorship is missing in our urban communities. The pipeline of urban youth entering the technology job market is in critical need of innovation and improvement. These and other relevant issues are central to our mission and will be discussed at the STEM Solutions Summit in June.”

Thank you, NMTC, for your support in the Summit.
