Eric Reeves

Eric has focused his career on developing innovative start up companies. As the immediate past General Counsel to SchoolDude.com, Eric helped lead one of the nations most successful software and service Education technology companies. The unifying theme of Eric’s work centers upon public sector innovation. With Expertise in public contracting, finance and procurement, numerous companies have benefited from Eric’s counsel and advice.

In addition to corporate work, Eric served ten years in the North Carolina State Senate where he chaired the Senate’s technology committee and was instrumental in forming the North Carolina Technology Association to promote growth in the state’s tech sector.

Prior to the Senate, Eric served on the Raleigh City Council for two terms and has spent most of his professional life focused on public policy issues involved in Government’s use and promotion of technology.

Eric received his undergraduate degrees from Duke University and his law degree from Wake Forest University.
