Daryl S. Davidson

Executive Director, RoboNation

Daryl Davidson is the Executive Director of RoboNation (formerly known as the AUVSI Foundation.)  RoboNation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a pathway of hands-on educational experiences that empower students to find innovative solutions to global challenges. With a belief that robotics is the “sweet spot” of the broad world of STEM, our focus is to engage students in interactive efforts at the earliest age and then provide increasingly challenging activities, that prepare them for jobs in the ever-growing world of automation and technology.

RoboNation educational offerings span the “K to Workforce” space, from the kit-based SeaPerch and SeaGlide programs through the full-autonomy, annual student competitions that cover air, land and multi-maritime domains.  Our sister organization, the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), provides the clear path for RoboNation students to learn about and experience job opportunities in the broad field of robotics and unmanned system.

Davidson holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (Public Relations specialization) from Texas A&M University.  He has a passion for inspiring the next generation to use technology for good and is proof that non-technical people can make a difference in the technical world.
