Dr. Jean King an active neuroscientist and is Peterson Family Dean of Arts & Sciences at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Previously Dr. King was the Vice Provost of Biomedical Research and Professor of Psychiatry, Radiology, and Neurology at UMass Medical School. Dr. King’s current research interests include the utilization of novel multi-modal neuroimaging techniques to explore the impact of stressors and addiction on neural networks, as well as neural mechanisms underlying co-morbidity in disorders like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Traumatic Brain Injury.   She received her doctorate in neurophysiology from New York University, and her post-doctoral training in translational neuroscience at Emory.
