CRS Executive Director Teresa Barnett has a passion for strengthening teaching and learning in K-12 schools. She holds a Master’s Degree in political science. Since 2009, Barnett has led Community Resources for Science in building a dynamic network empowering teachers, scientists and engineers, and partner organizations to inspire young learners through science and engineering investigations and explorations. Her professional background includes journalism and photography. Prior to joining CRS, Barnett served as founding board member and president of a non-profit education funding organization, and as a program manager for a writing coaching program placing mentors in East Bay high school and middle school classrooms.
