Currently, Rod Duckworth is the Chancellor of Career and Adult Education in the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), a role that he has held since 2012. In this position, he oversees career and technical education, adult education and apprenticeship programs. Prior to joining the FDOE, he served in state-level positions in Career and Technical Education (CTE) in both Arkansas and Washington State as well as a programmatic position with the National FFA Organization, an association for students enrolled in agriculture education. Duckworth began his career as high school agriculture teacher in 1987 in Hope, Arkansas.
